Bowie State University (BSU) is pleased to announce its search for the next Executive Director of Budget (ED Budget). The new Executive Director will be a strategic thinker who will support the mission of Bowie State University by providing people-oriented, technologically enhanced, and fiscally sound operational management in partnership with faculty, staff, students, and the campus community.

The ED Budget serves as a conscientious advisor at all levels within the University supported by careful analysis. Reporting to the Vice President of Administration and Finance, the ED Budget administers the budget planning system, ensures the field has the knowledge, tools, and support necessary for sound fiscal management, and models the impact of established and anticipated strategic policy on the use of resources to deliver on mission and meet strategic priorities.
The ED Budget is highly collaborative, exemplifies excellence in strategic thought, insightful analysis, and interpersonal behaviors while engaging consistently with all levels of the institution in planning, review, and implementation of the budget.
